No two days on a renovation are ever the same—but a good foreman brings structure to the chaos. The goal is simple: run a safe, compliant, and efficient site, every day.
Early Morning
Most sites kick off at 7:00–7:30am. The first hour is all about getting organised, not making noise.
Plans are reviewed, the day’s work is mapped out, tools are checked, and any risks are flagged early. It’s also when the site gets set up—materials unloaded, protection laid down, and everything put in place to hit the ground running.
Daytime
By 8:00am, work is fully underway.
Depending on the stage, the team could be demolishing, framing, lining, or finishing. Subcontractors roll in as needed—plumbers, sparkies, roofers—each tied into the programme.
Progress often hinges on decisions. When a client needs to weigh in, timing matters. Quick, clear communication keeps things moving and avoids delays.
Key milestones—like foundations or framing—are tied to council inspections, which are pre-booked and need to be ready to go.
End of Day
A good site finishes as well as it starts.
Tools are packed away, rubbish is cleared, and the site is left clean, safe, and secure. It sets the tone for the next day and keeps standards high.
