A proud fifth-generation Devonport local, Andy has a genuine connection to the area and a particular appreciation for the character and craftsmanship of Auckland’s older homes. Working on villas is his specialty, and he especially enjoys restoring old doors, windows and other original features, bringing them back to life while preserving the character that makes these homes so special.
Andy didn’t move into building full-time until he was 30. Before that, he worked primarily as a painter, along with a few other jobs along the way; too many to mention! That varied experience has given him a practical, hands-on approach and a strong appreciation for quality workmanship and exceeding client expectations.
For him, building is about more than just the finished product. He understands that clients are trusting the team with their homes and often with a significant moment in their lives. Building strong relationships, communicating well and delivering quality workmanship that exceeds expectations are all important parts of the job.
Outside of work, he still enjoys snowboarding and surfing whenever the builder’s body allows!
