With a creative background in the film industry, our apprentice Guy brings a unique edge to the Eye For Detail team. Having spent his early 20s crafting props, costumes, and set builds both in New Zealand and overseas, he developed a strong eye for detail and hands-on problem-solving skills that translate naturally into construction. Since joining Eye For Detail, Guy has found real value in the team environment; working alongside like-minded people, learning together, and having a laugh while getting the job done. He enjoys all the satisfaction that comes from seeing a project take shape, from the first frame going up to the finished result. Drawn to the more physical side of the job, he doesn’t shy away from the hard graft—whether it’s digging, demo work, or mixing concrete, he takes pride in putting in a solid day’s work and earning a cold beer at the end of the day . Outside of work, he keeps active, enjoys a game of pool, and never misses a Warriors game.
