With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Sumu brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and a genuine passion for building to the Eye For Detail team.
Starting his career as a block layer before moving into carpet laying, Sumu found his calling in construction at 23 and has been building ever since. Over the years, he has worked alongside many talented builders and has helped train and sign off more than eight apprentices.
Sumu enjoys the variety that construction brings and takes pride in working with both clients and his team to turn ideas into reality. For him, there’s nothing better than seeing a project come together and a client’s dream home become a finished product.
At Eye For Detail, Sumu values the strong team morale, professionalism, and good humour that make working alongside the team so enjoyable. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, watching sport, and making the most of the outdoors and his garden.
